Abstract Background

Alabama’s Super PAC for Science, Innovation, Technology, & Engineering.

We support leaders who modernize Alabama’s economy, strengthen STEM education, advance responsible innovation, expand advanced manufacturing, and bring opportunity to underinvested communities across our state.

Why Support the SITE Coalition?

Policy Leadership for STEM and Advanced Manufacturing

Our work is grounded in Alabama’s most vital sectors: advanced manufacturing, robotics and automation, engineering modernization, innovation districts, technology adoption, industrial reinvestment, and resilient workforce and STEM pipelines. We support policies that sharpen competitiveness and build high-quality jobs, ensuring that as technology advances, people gain the skills, access, and opportunities to move upward. Especially in communities long excluded from economic growth.

Political Influence for a Modern Alabama

SITE is an independent Super PAC committed to supporting leaders who advance modernization with rigor, responsibility, and a clear commitment to public benefit. We intervene in key races where STEM policy, industrial modernization, digital and AI infrastructure, and advanced manufacturing shape the economic future of Alabama’s communities. We back candidates who push for progress that lifts people and we oppose those who pursue, ignore, or block change without accountability.

Accountability for Leaders Who Hinder Progress

SITE conducts independent analysis and delivers issue ads and voter education to ensure the public has a clear view of how decisions are made. When leaders push modernization without due diligence, overlook community impact, sideline STEM and workforce development, or fail to support equitable economic growth, SITE intervenes to ensure progress is responsible, transparent, and aligned with the public interest.

About the Science, Innovation, Technology, and Engineering (SITE) Coalition of Alabama.

We evaluate candidates through the lens of responsible, people-centered modernization. Leaders who pursue industrial reinvestment, STEM workforce development, innovation districts and corridors, advanced manufacturing adoption, and digital and AI infrastructure with rigorous due diligence and public accountability. SITE supports candidates who ensure technology strengthens communities rather than displacing them, who protect workers by educating and preparing them to work alongside AI rather than be replaced by it, and who insist on fact-based evaluation of major developments such as data centers, industrial expansions, and emerging tech projects. As an independent and nonpartisan Super PAC, SITE is guided by a single principle: Alabama’s future belongs to leaders who choose smart, responsible progress: innovation that empowers people, not innovation that overlooks them.

Our Mission

SITE’s mission is to advance responsible modernization by electing leaders who strengthen STEM education, grow advanced manufacturing, demand due diligence on emerging technologies, and ensure that innovation expands economic opportunity rather than replaces workers. We intervene in key races across Alabama to support officials who champion accountable, people-centered progress  and oppose those who stand in the way.

Our Vision

Our vision is a modern Alabama powered by responsible innovation where advanced manufacturing grows, STEM talent thrives, digital infrastructure expands, and communities gain real opportunity through technologies that enhance work rather than replace it. We aspire to a state where elected leaders champion smart, accountable progress and ensure underinvested cities share in the benefits of a rapidly changing economy.

Expanding Opportunity Across Alabama

The SITE Coalition believes that Alabama’s innovation economy grows strongest when talent from every background and every community has a chance to participate. We work to expand access to STEM education, modern workforce pathways, and advanced manufacturing careers to empower individuals and communities that have historically been overlooked. By broadening participation in the industries of the future, SITE helps strengthen Alabama’s competitiveness and ensures modernization benefits the entire state.
